Antique English Sterling Silver Swimming Trophy Cup with Wooden Base with Inscription. Neoclassical form with winged victory finial with hallmarks for Sheffield, 1912 and maker "Martin Hall & Co". Base engraved: "Hutton Cup Buenos-Aires Swimming Championship 100yds-100yds Breast Stroke-250 yds. 1914-1915-1916 won by Walter B. Boyce". Turned wooden base with plate: "BELGRANO ATHLETIC CLUB CHALLENGE CUP FOR SWIMMING PRESENTED BY A. WATSON HUTTON 1913". Excellent condition, measures: 19.5" H , total weight: 50.5 Ozt.
