1914 Mosaic Royal Imperial Trinket Jewel Box Egg
Inspired by the original design of Carl Faberge for the Russian Royal Family, 1914 Mosaic Imperial trinket, jewel box egg. Hand-painted enamel & gilt over pewter, with embedded Austrian crystals. The top of the egg lifts up on a hinge, with magnetic closure, to reveal an enameled interior for storing trinkets or jewels. The egg also holds a surprise, jeweled picture frame on a stand. 4" H X 1 1/2" D. Comes with gift box.
