1917 25C Type One MS67 Full Head NGC. The availability of the 1917 Type One Standing Liberty quarter makes grade a much more significant consideration than it is for some other dates in the series. For advanced date and type collectors, only a Superb Gem example of this issue will do. The current coin displays glistening, vibrant mint luster with ivory-white color and a distinct lack of abrasions in most areas. A tiny mark high on Liberty's left (facing) thigh serves as a pedigree marker, while the ridge of the same leg is pleasantly devoid of serious abrasions. Head detail and shield rivets are sharp.
