A beautiful elegant Georgian design Sterling silver coffee pot in very good condition.
The pot is on a pedestal base, with fluted boat shaped body and a fine necked spout. The lid finial and the handle is made of ebony. The silver is further decorated with engraved scrolling patterns and a central empty cartouche. There are hallmark stamps to both the body and lid. The hallmarks are for Birmingham 925 Sterling silver, with the date mark of 1918. The maker's details are those of S. Blanckensee & Sons Ltd, of Frederick St.
