Description: Absolutely incredible antique banjo-ukulele hybrid with a stunning sailing ship, likely an Argosy, motif adorning the back. This four-string instrument is in fantastic, working condition despite its age. From what we have been able to discern, it is almost entirely original, sans the strings, with the original pearlescent headstock and backing being the highlights of this unique piece.

Year or Circa: 1920-1929

Condition of piece: Excellent given vintage. Craquelure present on back, but varnish is intact. Fully functional. Strings are in good condition. Wood back is fastened securely.Case is damaged in several areas, but does close and is functional if not tremendously aesthetic.
