1928 50C Hawaiian MS65 PCGS. The Hawaiian commemorative half dollar was struck to the extent of 10,008 coins, including a handful of assay pieces and 50 sandblast proofs. The distribution of circulation-strike coins to collectors was 9,500 coins. Although considered one of the key types in the classic commemorative half dollar series, this issue is nonetheless frequently available in Gem condition, becoming scarce only in higher grades.
