1931 Ford Model A Deluxe Delivery
Coachwork by Murray
Engine no. CAU5590
Besides a full complement of passenger car bodies, numerous commercial offers were also available from the factory. Among them was the Delivery—sometimes referred to as a Panel Van or Sedan Delivery. Originally based on the Model A Tudor, the 1930-31 Deluxe Delivery, type 130-B, was an entirely unique body. Crafted by Murray, the Detroit coachbuilder that was often contracted to build various Ford bodies, the Delivery was a popular body for businesses looking to have a useful, smaller commercial vehicle.

This Deluxe Delivery joined the Hartogh Collection in 1988. A Canadian-built example, it was assembled in Ford's Ontario plant for the export market. Featuring livery from Rockford, Illinois—just west of Chicago—it is nicely finished in two-tone fire engine red and cream with black fenders and gold filigree. Featuring both an auxiliary horn and Boyce Motometer, it is perfect for both personal enjoyment or commercial promotion.
