La mode des Hot Rod a été lancée aux Etats-Unis dans les années 30, au moment où, avec la crise de 29, de nombreux américains n''avaient plus d''argent et voulaient s''amuser à faire des courses sauvages en transformant la mécanique des célèbres Ford T, A ou B en adjoignant un V6 ou un V8. Ces modèles devenaient de véritables " dragsters " surpuissant par rapport au poids limité de la carrosserie.
Le Rod que nous présentons a été fabriqué dans le Kansas aux Etats-Unis en équipant le châssis Ford 32 d''un moteur V8 Cadillac et de sa boîte automatique 4 rapports ! La carrosserie en polyester, dont la peinture a été artificiellement vieillie, a un look inimitable et lui offre beaucoup de légèreté. L''intérieur a été traité de la même manière, se rapprochant du ''Rat'' en anglais, lui donnant une allure retro vintage. Côté mécanique, une révision vient d''être réalisée et les freins ont été refait. Ce Hot Rod est très puissant évidemment et donnera de belles sensations à son futur acquéreur !

The Hot Rod fashion started in the United States in the 1930s, when, with the crisis of ''29, many Americans who were running out of money but wanted to have fun racing, transformed the mechanicals of the famous Ford T, A or the B by adding a V6 or a V8 to the car. These models became real "dragsters," with power overkill compared to the limited weight of the body.
The Rod we are offering was made in Kansas, USA by equipping the Ford ''32 chassis with a Cadillac V8 engine and 4 speed automatic transmission! The fiberglass body, the paintwork of which has been artificially aged, has an inimitable look and gives it a lot of lightness. The interior has been treated the same way, approaching the ''Rat'' look, giving it a retro vintage feel. On the mechanical side, a service has just been carried out and the brakes have been redone. This Hot Rod is obviously very powerful and will surely provide great sensations to its future buyer!
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CAR DOESN''T COMPLY WITH ITS CURRENT REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS (FRENCH COLLECTOR TITLE).
