1940 COLT SERVICE MODEL ACE .22

SERIAL NUMBER SM906 BARREL 5" CALIBER .22 LONG RIFLE MANUFACTURED 1940. Produced by Colt with floating chamber to emulate and recreate the recoil and sensation of firing a .45 acp model 1911-A1 pistol while using inexpensive .22 long Rifle ammunition. Finished in deep polished blue with checkered walnut grips. Adjustable rear sight, Serrated short steel trigger wide checkered colt hammer, commercial grooved safety and slide release. Slide marked " COLT SERVICE MODEL ACE 22 LONG RIFLE" Proper two tone magazine marked "COLT ACE 22 LR" CONDITION, As new and restored by Turnbull restorations. All markings are crisp and perfectly done. Bore is pristine and grips are equally fine. C&R
