1942 Doxa Antimagnetique Stainless Chronograph
Doxa Anti-magnetic, Locle, case no. 4271131 dating this to 1942. Matte silver dial with painted black Arabic numerals and indexes, on the 6, 30-minute register dial, below the 12, off-center hour dial with painted Arabic numerals, at the center, spiral tachometric scale. Movement, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Band is a stainless Gemex Titanic.
Dimensions are: Case 33 mm dia. 38.1 mm long, 17.5 mm lug width. All measurements are approximate. Comes with a copy of the recent servicing receipt.
Condition: Watch has been cleaned, serviced and timed, new mainspring and crystal. Case has some scratching, dial with some fading to numbers.
