[ translate ]

No Reserve. This striking 1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe Convertible (serial 11869168, body 504) presents in an eye-catching cream yellow finish with a complementary tan soft top and rich burgundy interior. Powered by the reliable 217.8-cubic-inch L-head six producing 95 horsepower and backed by a three-speed manual transmission, this time capsule is showing what the owners believes to be 27,161 original miles. Built at the Detroit plant early in the 1948 model year, this is one of just 15,295 Special Deluxe convertibles produced across the entire postwar P15 series, making it a relatively scarce open-air example of Plymouth's popular top-line trim. It has had a quality repaint at one point in its life but starts right up and runs smooth according to the consignor. MILEAGE: 27161. VIN: 11869168.
