1949 Second Series Colt Woodsman Sport Model .22 LR Semi-Automatic Pistol

Manufactured in 1949, this is the second in the series of Woodsman. Features a 6" barrel stamped "COLT'S MFG CO HARTFORD, CT USA". Target blade front sight, rear fixed notch sight. Second series frame with the rampant Colt logo and "WOODSMAN" stamped on the left side of the frame. Serrated slide with matte finish on top, stamped on the left side "COLT AUTOMATIC CAL .22 LONG RIFLE". Factory "Coltwood" synthetic brown marbled checkered grip panels. Manual left side slide stop safety. Magazine release located on the left side behind the trigger. Lanyard loop on the rear heel of the grip. Includes original factory 10 round magazine, stamped "COLT/CAL 22 LR" on the base. CALIBER: .22 LR. S/N: 48990-S. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
Condition Report: Retains 85% of the original finish with most wear on the edges and at the muzzle. Grips are in great condition with only a few faint dings in the bottom edges. Good bore and mechanics.
