1950s Winchester Cooey Masonite Embossed Lever Action Rifle Advertising Sign
Vintage 1950s Winchester Cooey embossed advertising sign constructed of Masonite. The sign promotes the Winchester Cooey line of lever-action rifles produced by the H.W. Cooey Machine & Arms Company of Cobourg, Ontario, Canada, which was later acquired by Winchester-Western in 1961. The sign measures approximately 41" x 9-1/2" and retains a hanging chain for display. Features raised applied cardboard lettering and a dimensional lever-action rifle illustration. The rifle portion has been repaired where the barrel meets the forearm. A scarce Canadian Winchester-related advertising display with excellent size and strong visual appeal.
Condition
As noted, a repair on the gun where barrels meet the forearm. Some small spots of damage along the edges and corners of the lettering.
