1952 Bentley MK.VI Special

[ translate ]

1952 Bentley MK.VI Special
Registration no. KFS832
Chassis no. B412NZ
*A fine example
*Chassis is standard length
*Well-presented interior

Odometer Reading:43000
MOT Expiry: Exempt

The special has been an important part of the classic Bentley movement for many years but really came to fruition from the mid-1960s onwards, spurred on by a ready supply of strong, well-engineered chassis clothed in poor-condition bodywork. This Bentley Special is based on a 1952 MkVI and is a fine example of the special builder's art. Much better proportioned than many MkVI/R-type specials, where ride height and proportions often leave much to be desired, MPH's retains the chassis in its original length which, combined with the delightfully-presented, understated dark blue coachwork and unpainted multi-spoke wire wheels, creates a truly handsome tourer. The dark blue interior features leather-trimmed bucket seats and dark blue carpet and the walnut dashboard, with a full complement of instruments keeping driver and passenger appraised of progress. Appreciators of post-war Bentley engineering will find the engine bay is clean and tidy.
