1952 MG TD 1250 Roadster
Registration no. 075177
Chassis no. TD17432
*Seventeen years in private ownership
*Rack and pinion steering conversion
*Recent re-commissioning

Odometer Reading: TBA
MOT Expiry: Exempt

MG's TD model continues to offer true British sports car driving and its combination of looks, performance, affordable running costs and club support further strengthens its appeal. Like so many examples, MPH's 1952 car was exported to the USA when new but came back from dry-state Arizona in 2003. While it remains in left-hand drive form, a rack and pinion steering conversion adds to driver enjoyment and recent re-commissioning (including the draining of old fuel, replenishing with fresh and the fitting of a new battery) adds peace-of-mind for the new owner. The vendor reports it is driving well and remains in good all-round order. While there is some minor cracking to the paintwork it is generally in good order and it presents very well, its appearance boosted by a set of wire wheels. The interior is in very good order throughout: seat facings, dashboard and carpet are in very presentable condition and make any journey a pleasure. In all, a delightful example of this still-popular MG and, retaining its original left-hand drive configuration, ideal for tours of mainland Europe.
