1957 Chrysler 300C

[ translate ]

No Reserve. Representing one of the most formidable American performance automobiles of the 1950s, this 1957 Chrysler 300C combines Virgil Exner's dramatic "Forward Look" styling with Chrysler's legendary Hemi performance. Its factory body tag identifies it as a genuine model 566 300C two-door hardtop, finished from new in code X Cloud White with code 60 natural cowhide leather upholstery and scheduled for production on May 2, 1957. Approximately 1,918 300C hardtops were produced for the model year, making the imposing letter-series Chrysler a comparatively scarce automobile even when new.At the heart of every standard 300C was Chrysler's 392 CI FirePower Hemi V8, breathing through dual four-barrel carburetors and factory rated at an impressive 375 HP and 420 lb-ft of torque. Combining massive horsepower with Chrysler's Torsion-Aire suspension, power-assisted luxury and unmistakable soaring tailfins, the 300C became one of the defining high-performance luxury automobiles of its era. Particularly desirable in its tag-confirmed Cloud White finish, this example retains both its factory VIN plate and data plate, providing important documentation of its original identity, color and trim configuration. An older restoration that still shows well today. MILEAGE: 27,525. VIN: 3N572313.
