Notre 356 est une rare version A dans sa déclinaison coupé T1, motorisée par le moteur 1600 cm3 et carrossée par Reutter. Habillée d'une belle robe bleu foncé, elle dispose d'un intérieur en similicuir noir et fut produite en 1956. Selon le professionnel américain qui a vendu la voiture à son actuel propriétaire français, celle-ci fut achetée en 1979, par son deuxième propriétaire californien, au premier propriétaire qui résidait également en Californie. Elle a donc séjournée une grande partie de sa vie sous des cieux cléments américains. Son 4 cylindres qui est d'origine est associé à une boîte de vitesses manuelle à 4 rapports de type 741 et il a été restauré en 2018 aux Etats-Unis. Une copie de la facture est présente au dossier. La sellerie en similicuir noir a été rénovée pour la dernière fois en 2004 avec une réparation du siège et une nouvelle garniture de ciel de toit. Depuis son arrivée en France en 2018, elle a reçu une peinture neuve et a bénéficié aussi cette année d'une remise à niveau mécanique pour plus de 3 000 €. Cette 356A est proposée avec un dossier permettant de retracer une bonne partie de son histoire grâce à des factures et les informations du Kardex. Elle est accompagnée de tous ces éléments ainsi que ses manuels d'époque. Cette voiture est intéressante car elle ne semble jamais avoir fait l'objet d'une restauration complète mais simplement entretenue au fil du temps et partiellement rénovée lorsque cela été nécessaire. Il devient difficile de trouver une 356A T1 Coupé sur le marché et notre exemplaire qui a conservé son âme au fil du temps est un exemplaire particulièrement intéressant.

Our 356 is a rare A version in its T1 coupe variation, powered by a 1,600cc engine and built with a bodywork by Reutter. Produced in 1956, it has a beautiful dark blue colour combined with a black faux leather interior. According to the American dealer who sold the car to its current French owner, the car was bought in 1979 by its second Californian owner from the first owner who also lived in Calfornia. It therefore spent a large part of its life on a more favourable American soil. Its original 4-cylinder engine is coupled with a 4-speed manual gearbox Type-741 and was restored in 2018 in the United States. The file contains a copy of the invoice. The black leatherette upholstery was last renovated in 2004 and included the repair of the seat and a new headliner trim. Since arriving in France in 2018, it has received a new paint job and also benefited this year from a mechanical upgrade exceeding €3,000. This 356A is offered here with a file enabling us to retrace a good part of its history, thanks to invoices and information provided by Kardex. It comes with all these elements as well as its original manuals. This is an interesting car, since it has never been subject to a full restoration but instead, was serviced over the years and partially restored whenever necessary. It has become difficult to find a 356A T1 Coupe in today's market and our example, which has retained its soul over time, is a particularly appealing car.
