1960 Triumph TR3A

[ translate ]

1960 Triumph TR3A
Registration no. 151 XUU
Chassis no. TS75199
*Australian market car
*Comprehensively restored in the early 1990s
*A perfect competition bolide

Odometer Reading: 110000
MOT Expiry: Expired

Popular at home and in numerous export markets across the globe, the TR3A was a cosmetically advanced successor to the TR3 and with lively performance achieved a popularity that moved into the classic car movement. MPH is pleased to offer this ex-Australian market car, which spent much of its earlier life in Sydney before moving south. The then owner was clearly taken with this 3A and carried out a thorough restoration where the body was removed from the chassis, the body then receiving a bare metal re-spray while the engine and gearbox were overhauled, the interior re-trimmed and, in a seldom-seen move that highlights the care of work carried out, the Jaeger gauges too were overhauled. Bought by the vendor from Australia's famous Classic Throttle Shop, it remains in very good, well-maintained order. Now looking for a new owner.
