1960s Tiffany Schlumberger Gold Fish Pendant Necklace

Unusual necklace created in France by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. in the 1960's. It is made of 14 karat (tested) yellow gold, the fish's eyes are accented with a ruby and a sapphire. The fish head opens up and reveals a lighter. The lighter is removable and in addition the piece comes with a pill box that you can put inside instead of the lighter. The pendant measures 4-1/2" long and 7/8" wide, the chain is 26" long. The piece weighs 64.7 grams. The pendant is stamped "Tiffany Schlumberger Made in France" and the lighter is also stamped "Tiffany Schlumberger". The chain is made of 14 karat yellow gold and stamped "Tiffany 585". Definitely a conversational piece!
