1961 Norton Manx 500
Frame number M10 73805
Engine number 11M 102713
Gearbox number MX 1209
Original specification machine with sensible modifications
Completely rebuilt by the present owner in 2013 and not used since
The engine runs well and all items are working satisfactorily
Built in 1971 from original Manx components Maintained and raced by Manx GP competitor Andy Vaughan Jones
With light re-commissioning the bike would be ready to use
Supplied with an additional short circuit fibreglass petrol tank
**The vendor has asked us to point out this is extra in addition to the 5 gallon alloy tank which is pictured on the bike. These 5 gallon tanks are a big feature of a period Manx Norton and are quite rare because they were very fragile and got damaged easily in racing spills (Besides which it cost over £500 just to get it painted and lined).**
Full range of sprockets and tools etc
Comprehensive document detailing rebuild history with photographs and invoices
Race history with photographs
Standard Manx information and tuning data sheets
A very good example of this iconic Manx racing motorcycle
