Fondé de pouvoir de banque à Paris, le père de l'actuel propriétaire avait tout d'abord commandé une Alfa Romeo Spider 2000 en 1961, avant de modifier son bon de commande au profit d'une plus puissante 2600, ainsi qu'en témoignent les documents au dossier. Dans sa classique livrée rouge avec intérieur noir, ce beau spider va faire le bonheur de son propriétaire jusqu' en 1983, date à laquelle son fils en bénéficiera, pour le conserver jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Il est accompagné de l'ensemble des factures d'entretien réalisées depuis l'origine, qui justifient les 87 700 km affichés au compteur. Jamais restaurée, cette voiture de famille offre donc aujourd'hui un état de conservation rare pour ce modèle, et si la carrosserie doit être reprise en certains endroits pour cause de corrosion perforante, elle mérite de conserver cette patine exceptionnelle. La mécanique est fonctionnelle mais devra faire l'objet d'une révision complète. En 2010, pour le centenaire de la marque, son propriétaire n'avait pas hésité à rejoindre Monza, puis Milan par la route, et depuis la voiture n'a que peu servi, sur de petits trajets. The father of the current owner had first ordered an Alfa Romeo Spider 2000 in 1961, before changing his order for the more powerful 2600, as can be seen in the documents in the file. In its classic red livery with black interior, this beautiful spider stayed in the ownership of this banker in Paris till 1983, when his son benefitted from the car and kept it till today. It comes with all the servicing invoices since it was new, confirming the 87,700 km on the odometer. Never restored, this family car is in a rare state of conservation for this model. Even if the body shows some perforating corrosion that should be repaired, it deserves to keep this exceptional patina. The mechanicals are functional but will need to be completely overhauled. In 2010, for the centenary of the brand, its owner did not hesitate to drive to Monza and then to Milan, since then the car has done only very occasional short trips. Sold new in France, in original condition and with all its service history, this example represents a really unique opportunity.
