L'Austin Healey 3000 Mk II fut introduite sur le marché en mai 1961. L'adoption d'une nouvelle calandre à barrettes verticales la distinguait au premier coup d'oeil, mais la nouveauté se situait sous le capot moteur. Un carburateur supplémentaire fut ajouté pour correspondre aux règles d'homologation en vigueur. L'exemplaire présenté a bénéficié d'une restauration complète de qualité qui s'est étalée de 2015 à 2016 chez Automobiles Z et P. Restaurée depuis le châssis, elle présente une belle combinaison " Golden beige métal " avec habitacle tendu de cuir " Melon ". Les trains roulants ont été restaurés avec l'adaptation d'amortisseurs à gaz, et de 4 freins à disques (seul le système de frein à main sera à terminer). La mécanique a bénéficié de quelques améliorations telles qu'un kit d'admission pour 3 carburateurs Weber et un échappement sport. Un capot à louvres en aluminium et un ventilateur Kenlowe ont été montés pour améliorer le refroidissement. La capote en parfait état, un couvre tonneau et des side-screens composent l'équipement pour la pluie. Un essai a révélé l'agrément de conduite de l'ensemble, et la voiture n'a parcouru que 550 kilomètres depuis sa restauration.

The Austin Healey 3000 Mk II was launched in May 1961. The adoption of a new grille with vertical bars distinguished it at first glance, but the main novelty was under the bonnet. An additional carburetor was added to match current homologation rules. The car on offer has benefited from a comprehensive high quality restoration that was carried out over 2015- 2016 at Automobiles Z et P. Restored from the chassis upwards, the car features a very attractive combination of "Golden beige metallic" with "Melon" leather interior. The axles have been restored with the adoption of gas shocks, and disc brakes on all four wheels (only the hand brake system will need to be finished). The mechanicals benefited from some improvements such as an intake kit for the triple Weber carburetors and a sports exhaust. An aluminum louvre bonnet and a Kenlowe fan were added to improve cooling. The hood is in perfect condition, with a tonneau cover and side-screens for the rain.
