1962 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk II BT7
This Austin-Healey 3000 was completed on 26 March 1962 and was destined for North America. The car was originally finished in Ivory White over a red interior with a black convertible top and included wire wheels, heater, adjustable steering column, “roadspeed” tires, laminated windscreen, mph speedometer, and overdrive. The Mark II was shipped to the U.S. on 13 April and distributed to Hambro Automotive Corporation, USA. The Austin-Healey was sold by The Auto Show dealership to Richard Huntwork of Warwick, Rhode Island, on 15 September.
