Odometer reading: 94,000
MOT: Exempt

*60s Ford Thunderbird
*Runs and driving well
*Well presented

Along with the Mustang, the Thunderbird is one of Ford's most desirable models. The car's life spanned eleven generations and was one of the company's most successful models. The Thunderbird was produced in a range of body styles, including coupe, convertible, and sedan – all with varying seating arrangements. The third generation Thunderbird was introduced in 1961 and spanned a 3 year production run, and was only produced in 2-door coupe and 2-door convertible variants. American cars from this era were incredibly innovative, and the Thunderbird is no exception to that with its swing away steering wheel and floating rear view mirror.

This example is a 1963 model that's in a good condition. The car is presented in a dark maroon/purple colour scheme with white contrast roof that matches well with the cream leather interior. The bodywork, paint and chrome and all in a good condition, but the car could be brought up to a higher standard if desired. The car is running and driving and as it should, and has only 94,000 miles on the odometer. Ford Thunderbirds are rare in the UK, and this car comes with a good history file with various documentation of its past.
