Introduced at the Paris Auto Show in 1958, the Alpine-Renault 108 was the successor of the A106 and the second model ever produced by Alpine. Produced both at Alpine?s facility in Dieppe and also in Brazil, the A108 always proved to be an attractive automobile, thanks to its superlight fibreglass bodywork designed by Michelotti. While production began in France, Jean Rédélé realized that he would have to produce his Alpine under licence elsewhere to maintain his success. He saw Willys Overland of Brazil as the perfect overseas partner through their existing close links with Renault.
The first of these new cars were seen at the São Paulo Car Show in November of 1961, and these Brazil-built cars were made in three separate body styles: berlinette, cabriolet, and coupé, as offered here today. Dubbed the Willys Interlagos, this example is finished in a fetching and seldom-seen colour scheme of yellow over a white leather interior. A rare sight anywhere, this Brazilian-built French sports car offers a unique opportunity to acquire one of the lesser-known Alpine models.

Apresentado no salão automóvel de Paris em 1958, o Alpine-Renault 108 foi o sucessor do A106 e o segundo modelo da Alpine a ser produzido.
