1964 Plymouth Fury Convertible
No Reserve. This 1964 Plymouth Fury Convertible combines one of Plymouth?s most attractive early-1960s body styles with desirable big-block power. Its factory identification confirms it as a genuine Fury V8 convertible, with body code 335 and a scheduled production date of May 1, 1964. Finished in a striking red exterior with matching red interior, the car captures the clean, angular styling that made the 1964 Fury such a standout, from its broad grille and crisp body lines to its open-air profile and bright trim. Only 5,173 Fury convertibles were produced for 1964, making surviving examples substantially scarcer than the far more common hardtops and sedans.
Under the hood is a 361 CI Commando V8, giving this Fury big-block performance to an already desirable convertible. The 361 was part of Chrysler?s proven B-series engine family and delivered the smooth torque and effortless cruising character that suited Plymouth?s upscale Fury line. With its rare factory convertible body, appealing red presentation, and 361 cubic-inch V8 power, this 1964 Fury offers an excellent combination of style, performance, and collectability from one of Plymouth?s most memorable pre-muscle-car-era designs. An aftermarket aluminum radiator, chrome valve covers and Edelbrock carburetor have been added. MILEAGE: 44,087. VIN: 3341233655.
