Ultime évolution de la TR4, la version A IRS offrait quelques chevaux supplémentaires et surtout une suspension arrière à roues indépendantes qui améliorait grandement son comportement dynamique.
L'exemplaire présenté a été acheté en 1981 par André Trigano auprès d'un amateur du Val de Marne, en même temps que la Spitfire de la collection.
Sa carrosserie, de teinte blanc diamant, a été repeinte, et les soubassements traités. L'habitacle en skaï noir avec passepoil couleur carrosserie est en état d'usage, tout comme la capote. Le compteur, gradué en km/h, indique 85 926km, et nous avons noté l'absence de l'autoradio et de son antenne. La ligne d'échappement a été remplacée. Cette voiture est dépourvue de sa plaque constructeur et devra bénéficier d'une révision générale avant de reprendre la route sur de longues distances. Rares sont les exemplaires aux spécifications européennes entre les mêmes mains depuis tant d'années.

Nous informons les acheteurs que l'ensemble des véhicules de la collection ont été peu utilisés ces dernières années s'agissant d'une collection muséale. Ils sont donc vendus en l'état, sans contrôle technique et devront bénéficier d'une révision générale avant de reprendre la route.

Considered to be the ultimate version of the TR4, the A IRS edition offered extra horsepower and most importantly a rear suspension with independent wheels which improved the driving characteristics.
The model on offer was purchased by André Trigano in 1981 from an enthusiast from Val de Marne, together with the Spitfire from the collection.
Its diamond-white body was repainted and the underbody retreated. The black leatherette interior with body colored piping is in used condition, as is the hood. The odometer in km reads 85,926km and we noted the absence of the cars radio and its antenna. The exhaust system has been replaced and the constructor plate is missing. This car will have to go through a general overhaul before taking to the roads again. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a European model which was in the same hands for so many years.

We inform buyers that all the vehicles in the collection have been little used during the last years as they are part of a museum collection. They are sold as presented and therefore require recommissioning before being driven on the public roads.
Since the catalog was published, the majority of the vehicles have undergone a technical inspection (French MOT). We invite you to consult the files of the cars.
