Maserati launched the Ghibli, named after the desert wind, in 1966. Giorgetto Giugiaro had taken just three months to design a superior sports car with fascinating lines. The Ghibli is considered his masterpiece to this day! Upon its presentation, it immediately left the competition from Maranello looking truly obsolete in the most literal sense of the word. The 4.7-litre engine with more than 300 horsepower accelerates the just 116 cm-tall dream on wheels from 0 to 270 km/h. The transmission is a 5-gear gearbox by ZF.
