[ translate ]

Odometer Reading: 47,300
MoT Expiry: Exempt

*Three owners from new
*New clutch, brakes and suspension components
*Interior trim replaced
*Offered with hard and soft tops

The global appeal of the E-type meant a great proportion were exported, the USA being its biggest overseas market. This Series 2, 1969 Roadster was an American market and settled in Tennessee, where it had two owners before being bought by our UK vendor. Riding on new wire wheels with new whitewall tyres, it presents well but offers scope for improvement if the new owner wishes. The bodywork is generally good with reasonable panel fit and the metallic grey paint (which admirably suits the E-Type's lines) is good but again offers scope or betterment. Recent mechanical work includes fitting a new clutch as well as master and slave cylinders along with new front discs and pads and lower wishbone trunnions, while under the bonnet the carburetors have been overhauled. A new interior (seat facings, door cards and dashboard) ensures the interior presents excellently. Running and driving well, the left-hand drive Series 2 Roadster offers excellent value for money and is worthy of closer inspection.

A generally presenting-well Series 2 that does offer some room for improvement but boasts good bodywork, a new interior and a carburetor overhaul.
