Cette très belle Jaguar Type E est une intéressante version 4.2L en coupé 2+2, car seule déclinaison de type E permettant d'embarquer quatre passagers. L'exemplaire présenté fut fabriqué en décembre 1969 à destination du marché américain. Selon les éléments figurant au dossier, cette voiture séjourna en Californie jusqu'en 2012 avant qu'elle ne rejoigne la Pologne. C'est là, qu'elle fut restaurée dans son ensemble et repeinte dans sa très belle couleur bleue clair. L'ensemble des éléments moteur-boite, carrosserie et sellerie ont alors été revus pour un rendu particulièrement agréable à l'œil. Lors de l'essai que nous avons pu effectuer, elle s'est avérée douce à la conduite, la belle sellerie de cuir bleu est des plus accueillante et le conducteur dispose du confort de la climatisation ainsi que de la direction assistée. L'assistance manuelle à la conduite, installée sans modification, pourra être supprimée au choix du futur acquéreur. Elle sera enfin livrée avec son manuel de bord et ses outils, un dossier des factures réalisées en Pologne et une expertise rendant compte de l'étendue de la restauration. Confortable, ayant bénéficié de travaux conséquents et proposée à une estimation attractive, cette Type E est prête à offrir le meilleur de Jaguar à ses quatre chanceux passagers.

This very attractive Jaguar E-Type is an interesting 4.2-litre 2+2 coupé model, the only E-Type able to carry four passengers. The example presented here was built in December 1969 for the North American market. According to the information on file, it stayed in California until 2012, when it went to Poland. There, it was completely restored and repainted in the very fetching shade of light blue. The engine and transmission, body and upholstery were all refurbished, producing a result which is visually highly appealing. During our test, the car proved smooth to drive and the handsome blue leather upholstery most welcoming, the driver benefitting from the comfort of air-conditioning and power steering. Installed without modifying the car, the manual driving aid may be removed at the discretion of its next owner. The car will be supplied with the owner's manual and tools, a file of invoices for the work in Poland and a valuation taking account of the extent of the restoration. Comfortable, with the benefit of substantial work undertaken and offered at an attractive estimate, this E-Type is ready to offer the best that Jaguar can to its four lucky passengers.
