Immatriculé pour la première fois le 25 mars 1970, cet élégant coupé fut cédé en 1981 par son premier propriétaire, originaire de Haute Savoie, par l'intermédiaire du Garage Davoine. La voiture, qui affichait 55 000 km est alors immatriculée dans le Var, puis sera acquise par le frère de son actuel propriétaire l'année suivante.
Sa teinte blanche (050G) d'origine a été conservée lorsque la peinture a été refaite il y'a quelques années, tandis que le superbe intérieur en cuir noir d'époque a pu être conservé. Les boiseries de l'habitacle sont également en bon état. La carrosserie est saine, seule la partie avant du bas de caisse gauche devra faire l'objet d'une reprise. Au printemps 2018, la voiture a bénéficié d'une importante révision, avec remise en état du circuit de freinage et des suspensions. Les durites, la pompe à essence et les pneumatiques ont également été remplacés à cette occasion. Un essai routier nous a apporté toute satisfaction, même l'autoradio Becker Grand-Prix et son antenne électrique sont fonctionnels ! Seul le totalisateur de kilomètre devra être réparé.
Cet exemplaire, peu courant dans la version V8 3.5 à boite manuelle, offre une subtile combinaison alliant sport, luxe et confort. First registered on 25 March 1970, this elegant coupé was sold in 1981 by its first owner, from the Haute-Savoie, through the Garage Davoine. The car, with 55,000 km on the clock, was then registered in the Var, before being purchased by the current owner's brother the following year.
The car kept its original white paintwork (050G) when it was resprayed a few years ago, while the superb original black leather interior has been retained. The wood interior trim is likewise in good condition. The body is sound, only the front section of the left-hand rocker panel will need to be repaired. In spring 2018, the car underwent a major service, when the brake system and suspension were refurbished. The hoses, fuel pump and tyres were also replaced on this occasion. Our road test proved most satisfactory; even the Becker Grand Prix radio and electric aerial work! Only the mileage counter will need to be repared.
This example, rarely found in 3.5 V8 manual form, offers a subtle blend of sportiness, luxury and comfort.
