Exporté en Europe en 1985, il a depuis connu de nombreux travaux justifiés par un dossier de factures. En 2006, elle a bénéficié d'une peinture neuve et d'une réfection du moteur complète chez Classic Garage. A cette occasion, capote, jantes, amortisseurs, rotules et freins avant seront remplacés. En 2007, elle est devenue la propriété du président du club Delahaye de l'époque, qui a parcouru près de 40 000 km à son volant. En 2014, la voiture était confiée aux Ateliers Harper pour d'importants travaux de réglages mécaniques, la réfection des freins et la remise en état du train avant, puis, en 2015, la boîte de vitesses bénéficia d'une réfection. Son actuel propriétaire en a fait l'acquisition en 2016, avant de la confier à Jag shop à Londres, en 2017 pour une remise en état du compartiment moteur et une restauration mécanique importante. Performante, ayant bénéficié de nombreux travaux et offrant une belle combinaison de couleurs, cette Type E V12 est prête à prendre la route des vacances.

This elegant E-Type Jaguar is an interesting V12 Series 3 version. It features the final changes developed for the model, significantly improving its handling. The model we are presenting was one of the very last built, as only 18 cars followed it off the assembly line. It was sold new in New York in 1974 and features the 4-speed manual gearbox. Exported to Europe in 1985, it has since undergone a good deal of work, as the bill file confirms. In 2006, it was repainted and the engine was completely overhauled by Classic Garage. The hood, wheels, shock absorbers, bushings and front brakes were replaced. In 2007, ownership passed to the then president of the Delahaye club, who covered nearly 40,000km with it. In 2014, the car was entrusted to the Ateliers Harper workshop for significant mechanical work including overhauling the brakes and refurbishing the front suspension; then, in 2015, the gearbox was overhauled. Its current owner acquired it in 2016, before handing it over to Jag Shop in London in 2017 for the engine bay to be refurbished and a substantial mechanical restoration. Offering excellent performance and in an attractive colour combination, with substantial work having been carried out, this V12 E-Type is ready to set off on holiday.
