1979 Ford Bronco Roush Supercharged Coyote

[ translate ]

No Reserve. This 1979 Ford Bronco is a show-quality restomod by Cleveland Power and Performance, built to look mostly original at first glance and reveal more of its modern hardware the longer you look. The 1979 model closed out the two-year, F-Series-based second-generation Bronco, with 104,038 built that final year. Beneath custom-blended three-stage PPG Crimson paint with metallic-silver accents sits a custom tube-steel chassis that combines the front frame section and independent front suspension of a 2014 F-150 donor with a 4-link rear and Belltech coilovers all around. Power comes from a Roush-supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8, rated by the builder at 570 horsepower, exhaling through Kooks long-tube headers and a custom exhaust with Kooks resonators. It's backed by a 6R80 six-speed automatic and a four-mode electronic transfer case feeding a 9.75-inch electronic-locking rear axle and front carrier, both with 3.73 gears. Brembo brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers hide behind 20x10-inch Forgeline VX1-6 forged wheels on 35x11.50R20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires. Hand-built body-color bumpers, a hand-built grille blending classic and modern Ford cues, LED lighting and modern mirrors and door handles refine the exterior. The cabin is a customized late-model F-150 interior with custom-stitched brown leather and suede, a suede headliner, 10-way power heated and cooled front seats, an 8-inch navigation display and a full roll cage subtly integrated into the trim. Vintage Bronco style with modern performance and comfort throughout.
