Elegant, refined and supremely engineered the W126 S-class, whatever its engine size, makes great sense for someone after a reliable classic backed with great spares support. With 172,000 miles on the clock this long-wheelbase 380 is barely run in and it is MoT-tested until next Spring. The bodywork could benefit from attention, particularly around the headlights and some fresh paint to the sides would improve the appearance. Grey cloth seats are very good but could benefit from a clean, as could the door cards, but the internal trim remains in good order. Reported to be running and driving well this is the basis of an excellent use-and-improve '126' - driven to the sale.
