1985 Nike Promo Michael Jordan RC PSA 9
Few collectibles capture the beginning of Michael Jordan's global rise quite like the 1985 Nike promotional card. Issued during the infancy of Jordan's legendary partnership with Nike and around the beginning of his NBA career, the oversized card features an unforgettable image of a young Jordan soaring toward the basket - a pose that perfectly foreshadowed the athlete and cultural icon he would become. Unlike traditional pack-issued basketball cards, the Nike Promo carries a distinctive history directly connected to the brand relationship that helped transform Jordan into a worldwide phenomenon. With surviving examples often displaying condition challenges because of their unusual size and promotional nature, a PSA 9 MINT example represents an exceptional high-grade copy of an early Jordan collectible with tremendous crossover appeal between basketball, sneaker culture, and sports history.
