En mars 1984 au salon de Genève, Peugeot présente la déclinaison sportive de sa petite citadine 205 apparue un an plus tôt : la 205 GTI. D'abord proposée en version 1.6L de 105 chevaux, en mars 1986 elle est disponible en 115 chevaux sur option, puis dès la fin de cette année l'option devient de série et une autre version 1.9L développant 130 chevaux est également disponible.
La voiture de la vente est une magnifique 205 GTI 1.6L de 105 chevaux. Commandée neuve au concessionnaire Peugeot-Talbot de Bourg-en-Bresse le 16 août 1985 pour un montant de 81.526 francs, comme en témoigne le bon de commande joint au dossier, elle a été mise en circulation pour la 1ère fois le 22 août. Elle restera alors dans la même famille jusqu'en 2004, avant de changer de mains à nouveau en 2014. Cette 205 GTI n'aurait donc connu que trois propriétaires. Elle a de plus toujours été régulièrement entretenue comme en atteste le carnet d'entretien et les factures. C'est ce qui explique son excellent état de conservation dans sa configuration d'origine. Dans sa couleur gris Futura, identique à celle du film Subway, avec intérieur tissu noir et rouge associé à des moquettes rouges, cette 205 présente une livrée à la fois chic et sportive. Affichant en outre un kilométrage raisonnable de 124 000 km et disposant d'un dossier très complet, cet exemplaire a donc tout pour plaire.

In March 1984 at the Geneva Motor Show, Peugeot launched the 205 GTI, the sporting version of its small 205 city car, which had appeared a year earlier. First offered with a 1.6L developing 105bhp, in March 1986 it was also available in 115bhp as an option, and then from the end of that year the option became standard and another version, the 1.9L, developing 130bhp was available.

Ordered new at the Peugeot-Talbot dealer in Bourg-en-Bresse, on August 16, 1985, for an amount of 81,526 francs, as can be seen from the order form attached to the folder, the car was registered for the first time on August 22. It remained in the same family till 2004, before changing hands again in 2014. This 205 GTI would have had only three owners since new. It has always been regularly serviced as can be seen from the service logbook and invoices. This explains its excellent state of conservation in its original configuration. In Futura grey color, identical to the car in the movie Subway, with black and red fabric interior combined with red carpets, this 205 features a chic and sporty livery.
