Introduced in 1984, the Carrera 3.2 was the last iteration of the classic 911 before the large changes of the 964. The Carrera 3.2 produced 217 horsepower at 5,900rpm, which was delivered through the desirable Getrag G50 transaxle from the 1987 production year and onwards. True to Porsche's reputation, the Carrera 3.2 offered the unique experience of driving pleasure and performance without sacrificing comfort and usability. Due to their robust construction and strong owner's groups, these 1980s 911s are great cars to be enjoyed and driven.THE MOTORCAR OFFEREDCompleted at Porsche during November of 1987 as a 1988 model-year car, this spectacular Carrera 3.2 Coupe was finished just as it appears today, painted classic Grand Prix White over a Bordeaux leather interior. Fitted with many desirable optional extras including sunroof, sports suspension and seats, factory front and rear spoilers, short shift lever, climate and cruise control, the new Carrera featured the much-improved Getrag G50 5-speed manual transaxle. Sold new in September of 1988 by Porsche of Natick, Massachusetts, the Carrera remained under single family care from 1992 until 2021, when acquired by the current owner, a well-known Los Angeles-based Porsche enthusiast. The 911 has since been exercised on the Ramshorn Rally, delivering a faultless performance. Today less than 47,500 miles are recorded on the odometer and documented by the CARFAX report. Inside and out, the Porsche is original and impeccably well-preserved with very light signs of use, and factory-applied VIN decals remain intact on all major panels, along with other factory decals and ID plates. The climate control blows cold, and the car drives incredibly well, as would be expected from a well-serviced and maintained low-mileage Porsche. Offered with the original owner's manuals in pouch, leather treatment pamphlet, space saver spare, jack and tool roll, this must be one of the best kept 911 Carrera 3.2-Liter cars available.
