The Rickenbacker 360-12 was introduced as a 12-string version of the classic 360 model in 1964 and was popularized by the Beatles in the mid-1960s. Despite having some subtle variations over the years, modern 360-12s, such as this 1988 model, are very similar to the original vintage design and are still highly regarded instruments. This model features a maple semi-hollow body in Mapleglo finish, a standard finish for Rickenbackers. Designed with sleek contours, this guitar is renowned as one of the most comfortable to play. Like George Harrison’s famous Ric 12-string, the Rickenbacker 360-12 has been enjoyed by many notable musicians including Peter Buck, Roger McGuinn, and Carl Wilson.
