Introduced in 1983 BMW's K100RS was capable of a 140mph+ top speed and a claimed horsepower of 95hp at 7,500rpm. At its heart, was a fuel-injected, four-stroke liquid cooled 987cc, transverse four-cylinder engine mated to a five speed transmission. Standard equipment featured Marzocchi telescopic fork, monolever suspension, dual Brembo discs up front together with a half fairing. This K100RS was purchased new by the late owner in October 1990 from Roy Pidcock Motorcycles Ltd (purchase receipt on file). Maintained by the late owners mechanic (handwritten service bulletin on file), the machine was last started July 2019 with a slave battery, during which the ABS light was flashing and the brake master cylinder leaking. Unused since, the machine will require a replacement battery together with recommissioning and or restoration to a greater or lesser extent. Accordingly, the machine is sold strictly as viewed. Offered with V5C, old V5, handwritten Service bulletin, a selection of expired MoT's and the aforementioned 1990 Purchase receipt.
