1993 Chateau Leoville las Cases - Bordeaux 2ème Grand Cru Classé - 1 Bottle (0.75L)
Created in 1638, the castle is one of the oldest Médoc properties and enjoyed great success in the mid-18th century, thanks to the innovation and expansion projects of owner Blaise-Alexandre de Gasq. The French Revolution marked its confiscation and its division into three properties (Léoville Las Cases, Léoville Barton and Léoville-Poyferré) which were classified as second growths classified in 1855. Over time, the property changed hands and evolved. Today it has 97 hectares of gravel soils planted with vines aged around thirty years on average.
