Not decanted. Allowed to breathe in glass 30 minutes before tasting, then followed over 4 hours. Clear deep garnet-blood red color. Wonderful mellow bouquet of cassis, cigar humidor, red cherries, with hints of truffles and stony soil. Needs a bit of coaxing and patience. Similar on the palate, seamless, weightless, silk-satin mouthfeel, beautiful balance, polished and refined.
