1994 FPG Joe Jusko's Edgar Rice Burroughs Collection Series 1 & 2 - Group Of 94 Different Signed and Numbered Cards - All Signed by Joe Jusko The 1994 FPG Joe Jusko's Edgar Rice Burroughs Collection Series 1 is a prestige art card release that brings Jusko's powerful, painterly interpretations of Burroughs' legendary worlds to trading cards. Featuring dynamic depictions of characters from Tarzan, John Carter of Mars, and other ERB creations, the set emphasizes heroic anatomy, dramatic lighting, and cinematic composition. Issued during the height of FPG's creator-focused era, Series 1 translates classic pulp adventure into high-impact fantasy art, making it a standout among 1990s illustration-based non-sport cards. The 1995 FPG Joe Jusko's Edgar Rice Burroughs Collection Series 2 expands on the success of the original release with additional artwork that deepens the visual exploration of Burroughs' iconic characters and settings. Building upon the same rich, painterly style, Series 2 introduces new scenes, variations, and dramatic moments that broaden the narrative scope of the collection. Together, the two series form a cohesive tribute to both Edgar Rice Burroughs' enduring literary legacy and Joe Jusko's ability to reimagine classic pulp adventure through modern fantasy illustration. Offered here are 94 different cards from the sets. Each is signed and numbered by Joe Jusko. NOTE: There is conflicting information regarding this FPG autographed insert group and how many cards were officially signed and numbered by the artist. These cards do come with the gold foil stamp stating "FPG Autograph Card." The lot also includes 5 cards that are not signed. The ungraded cards exhibit moderate handling wear, including some softened or rounded corners and minor surface wear consistent with age. Some cards show centering variations, but overall image quality remains strong. From the Dave Sire Collection.
