* Purchased new by the late owner
* Good cosmetic condition
* Requiring recommissioning

Launched in 1992, Honda's Fireblade rewrote the rulebook and blew away the opposition and went on to change the face of sportsbikes. The brainchild of Honda designer Tadao Baba, he was obsessed with weight saving and the 'Blade' used the latest technology together with a 122bhp 893cc engine, gradually enlarged throughout production. 1996 saw major changes to the CBR900RR including revised suspension and chassis. This 918cc third generation CBR900RR was purchased new by its late owner in May 1996 from Wylie & Holland Motor Cycles of Market Drayton. Used regularly until c.2006 alongside his stable of other sportsbikes, the machine was maintained by his personal mechanic. Last run and worked on in May/June 2017 (with the assistance of a slave battery), the machine is believed to have carburettor issues and is therefore sold strictly as viewed, requiring a replacement battery and recommissioning to a greater or lesser extent. Offered with V5C, old V5, original purchase receipt, Datatag correspondence, sundry invoices and a handwritten service bulletin.
