A prop Starfleet communicator badge made from cast resin, painted metallic gold and silver with Velcro backing believed used in Star Trek: First Contact.

BACKGROUND:
Original Star Trek 'First Contact' movie prop offered and sold at the legendary Christie's '40 Years of Star Trek: The Collection' Sale which as held at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City on October 5th-7th, 2006. Christie's Sale #1778, lot #77. The lot was estimated 200-300 and achieved 4,200 with the buyers premium.

The sale broke all records and far exceeded auction estimate on most lots yielding in excess of 7,100,000 (7.1 Million USD). This particular lot was estimated at 200-300 and rocketed up to hammer down at 4200 before all was said and done and is now available for purchase for less than the hammer price.
