In Burgundy, at the southern end of the Côte de Beaune, the 392 ha of the Santenay appellation set foot on the first slopes of Mont-de-Sène. The etymological origin of the town dates back to Roman antiquity, famous for its thermal waters and its source "Santinae aquae" ("beneficial waters") . "Rousseau" is a very common surname in Burgundy and still well represented today. TASTING Typical of the Côte de Beaune, our Santenay 1er Cru "Clos Rousseau" reveals on the nose intensely fruity aromas of currant, plum and black cherry enhanced with notes of white pepper and kirsch. Nervous, fleshy and ample, this wine has character and a beautiful structure. The finish is long and fruity.
