19C Continental School Two Dogs in Snow Painting
Antique oil on canvas depicting two dogs standing in a snow-covered courtyard before a building entrance, one wearing a blue dog coat. No apparent artist signature observed, with a possible artist's monogram lower right. Presented in a gilt decorative frame. The composition recalls the narrative canine scenes characteristic of 19th-century European animal painting.

Dimensions: 21.5 X 27 X 2 in.
Condition: Good overall antique condition with very fine craquelure beneath a heavy varnish layer. Scattered areas of inpainting are visible under UV light. The canvas has been relined. The frame exhibits expected storage wear along the edges and corners, with a small loss to the top edge.
