19TH C AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN SILVER POCKET WATCH, 82g

An open face pocket watch with decorative engraved detailing including a depiction of a horse on the back casing, and a painted porcelain dial with figured silver border. Serial no. 27499 to the inside. Hallmarked to bow, crown, and to interior case, fineness .750. Probably Swiss movement. Late 19th C. 82g. Together with a rectangular Art Deco Austro-Hungarian silver cigarette box with engine turned decoration to the lid and sides. Opens to reveal a wood-lined interior. Hallmarked, fineness .800. Early 20th C.
