Circa 1880 Tripod Mount Telescope with 3" objective, approx. 60X (terrestrial, 125X (celestial, inverted image), with interchangeable eyepieces, signed "John Browning, London", solid brass, single draw with side ratchet fine adjustment, in the original pine dovetailed fitted box, 44" main tube, 5 1/2" x 46" x 7 3/4", include an original catalog dated 1862; PLUS Tripod converted from a later oak transit tripod, custom brass trunnion mount added, 45" long. All in fine condition.
