French,19th century. Painted wooden trumeau mirror with ribbon and laurel swag carving, having a circular scene of figures in a landscape in the manner of Jean-Antoine Watteau (1684 - 1721) above a mirrored plate. Unmarked. Approx. h. 61.5",w.36.75".
Condition Report: Pleasing distressed finish; loose/cracked elements to frame; craquelure to canvas; loss of silvering to plate; inactive worm damage; frame is stable.
