Theatrical Advertising Piece, circa 1890 of an elderly woman in a brown muslin dress with apron and bonnet, her ruffled skirts over a bentwood frame that is hinged at her waist, when lifted they transform to a hot air balloon with a banner that reads "Royal Marionetts" (sic). Her head, hands and boots with red striped socks are carved and painted wood. 38" x 17". Sun faded, losses.
